**Job Summary**
Mercy is seeking a skilled Cardiac Care Nurse to join our team in the 4B Cardiac Unit. As a Cardiac Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to adult cardiac patients, including those with drug loading, post-angioplasty, congestive heart failure, vascular, and medical conditions.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor and manage telemetry patients, including those with pacemakers and ICA devices
- Provide post-angioplasty care and manage patients with TR bands and BiPap
- Administer main medication drips, including those for cardiac patients
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions
**Requirements**
- Graduate of a state-approved professional nurse program
- Current RN licensure with the Missouri State Board of Nursing or current RN Missouri temporary work permit
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or completion of a course within the probation period
**Work Environment**
The 4B Cardiac Unit is a fast-paced environment with a focus on adult cardiac patient care. As a Cardiac Care Nurse, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
