Position: SharePoint Developer

We are seeking a qualified individual for a long-term contract opportunity as a SharePoint Developer. This role involves significant expertise in developing and customizing SharePoint applications.

Interview Format: In-person

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in SharePoint development.
  • Proficient in crafting tailored SharePoint solutions utilizing SharePoint and Power Platform features.
  • Strong command of web technologies including HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, jQuery, and REST APIs.
  • Experience with SharePoint Designer and InfoPath.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with a strong focus on customer service.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications in SharePoint, SharePoint Online, and Power Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop SharePoint applications using SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online.
  • Migrate and/or redesign existing SharePoint solutions from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online while adhering to development best practices.
  • Utilize SharePoint Designer workflows and InfoPath forms effectively.
  • Create custom SharePoint Lists and Content Types.
  • Develop front-end interfaces using web languages such as HTML, Bootstrap, JavaScript, CSS, XSLT, XML, jQuery, and REST API.
  • Implement and tailor SharePoint-based solutions following industry best practices.
  • Build new applications leveraging SharePoint Online and Power Platform.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to gather and clarify requirements.
  • Adopt Agile development methodologies, focusing on creating a minimum viable product (MVP), developing in sprints, and conducting demos at the end of each sprint.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues within existing applications while contributing to the development of new features.
  • Conduct unit and functional testing of application features as necessary.
  • Assist in developing test cases and documenting technical specifications of the applications.
  • Follow best practices in coding standards.
