About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our team at Liberty Mutual. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable solutions to meet the business needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement technology roadmaps to align with our strategic technical direction
  • Provide consultation and collaboration with Engineering Managers, business partners, and peer groups regarding long and short-range product features
  • Oversight at the business capability domain level, influencing decision-making and prioritizing the business and architecture backlog for the aligned development squads
  • Educate and drive adoption of the well-architected framework to champion Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency, and Cost Optimization as cultural norms
  • Contribute to the design and development of architecture scalable solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of agile development methodologies
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering experience in Agile environments
  • Minimum 5 years of design, implementation, and consulting experience with at least 2 years' experience implementing solutions on AWS
  • Hands-on design and development experience with React/GraphQL/TypeScript and/or Angular/Orleans/.NET
  • Hands on solutioning in AWS
  • Experience with DevOps practices, cloud networking, cloud migration, cloud security, and application integration
  • AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification or other equivalent industry certification preferred
