Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled individual to fulfill the role of a facility technician, providing essential support to maintenance, production, and shipping/receiving teams. This role encompasses preventative and corrective maintenance, repairs, and installations across all facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily communication of updates to the Maintenance Team and Management
- Accurately documenting data on preventive maintenance schedules and notifying management of any issues within their designated areas
- Participating in the development of project timelines, requirements, and cost assessments
- Collaborating with departments, vendors, and contractors to ensure that materials, scheduling, and sanitation meet operational needs
- Adhering to personnel policies and disciplinary procedures
- Complying with plant safety policies, operational protocols, and quality control measures
- Upholding current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and quality standards
- Performing additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year experience in facility maintenance and/or construction
Physical Demands:
Qualified candidates must be capable of meeting the following physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Ability to bend, crouch, stoop, sit, and kneel for extended periods
- Capacity to maintain balance for prolonged durations
- Proficiency in standing, walking, and climbing stairs for extended shifts
- Capability to climb and work from ladders, reaching above shoulder height
- Ability to work in environments with dust, high heat, or humidity
- Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds infrequently
Compensation:
$18.50 per hour
Work Schedule:
Options available: Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday
Payment Options:
Available methods include mailed check, direct deposit, or paycard.
