Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ophthalmologist to join our faculty as a Clinical Faculty in Ophthalmology- Retina. The successful candidate will be a board-certified/board-eligible ophthalmologist with a specialization in retina service. The position involves providing high-quality patient care, teaching, and research opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide standard of practice for patient population at a Level I Trauma Center.
  • Maintain a private office and make clinical decisions within the office.
  • Act as an advisor and consultant in establishing operational policies of the practice.
  • Participate in community service activities, including speaking engagements and special clinical programs.
  • Responsible for risk management, coding compliance, and quality assurance activities.
Requirements
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology Residency.
  • Board certified/eligible and completion of a Retina Fellowship.
  • Licensed to practice as an MD or DO in the State of Georgia with at least 5 years of experience.
