Language Remediation Professional

We are seeking an experienced Speech Therapist to join our team at the Anaheim Union High School District. As a key member of our educational staff, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and remediating students who have problems with communication. Your expertise in speech and language development will enable you to provide specialist services to students, hold conferences with parents, and act upon referrals from teachers, counselors, and administrators.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess students with communication difficulties.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to support students' communication needs.
- Provide specialist services to students, including speech and language therapy sessions.
- Hold conferences with parents to discuss student progress and provide recommendations for ongoing support.
- Act upon referrals from teachers, counselors, and administrators to identify and address communication difficulties.
Requirements:
- A Preliminary or Clear Speech-Language Pathologist Credential is required for this assignment.
- A minimum of 75% attendance record for each work year.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
Salary Range:
$60,000 - $90,000 per annum.
