* Perform routine nursing duties, including administering medications and treatments
* Observe and report symptoms and conditions of patients to the Director of Wellness

* Assist in the orientation of new staff and complete admission and discharge evaluations as necessary

Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program, currently licensed to practice
* Work experience in the geriatric field
* Ability to communicate well and in writing
* Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
* Must be able to perform good grooming practices, personal hygiene, and be punctual and regular in attendance
* Must have a warm, friendly, and congenial personality and present a professional appearance
* Ability to assess a resident's condition and intervene when needed
* CPR certified, or obtained within 90 days of hire and yearly thereafter
