Job Title: Per Diem Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Per Diem Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse to join our team at United Surgical Partners. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success and safety of surgical procedures across various specialties.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the surgical team to prepare and set up the operating room for a variety of procedures.
  • Assess and monitor patients throughout surgical interventions, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Administer medications and assist with anesthesia as required.
  • Maintain sterile techniques and aseptic conditions in the operating room.
  • Provide postoperative care and coordinate patient recovery.
  • Uphold infection control standards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Experience in surgery.
  • Current Florida RN license.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
  • CNOR preferred.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
  • Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to the operating room.
  • Clinically proficient in OR nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the developmental needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
