Role Summary:

The Home Care Aide will provide essential non-medical services to clients residing in King County, ensuring adherence to their personalized care plans. This role involves traveling to clients' homes to assist them with daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Household Management: Assist clients with maintaining a clean and organized living environment, including tasks such as housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and shopping.
  • Personal Care Assistance: Support clients with personal hygiene tasks, dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility assistance.
  • Client Advocacy: Uphold the dignity and self-worth of clients by understanding their needs and providing compassionate care.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and respectful communication with clients, families, and supervisors regarding care plans and any changes in client status.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of one year of experience in household management or caregiving, with a preference for those who have worked with individuals requiring assistance. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Additional Requirements:

  • Completion of a background check.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Willingness to undergo required training and continuing education.
