Job Overview

The Bevy Apartments is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Director to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our properties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all apartments are clean, safe, and well-maintained, providing an exceptional living experience for our residents.

About The Role

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will also be involved in budgeting and financial planning, as well as developing and implementing strategies to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance, scheduling and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and maintaining accurate records.
  • Budget and financial planning, monitoring expenses and identifying areas for cost savings.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce costs, utilizing data analysis and best practices.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in maintenance management, preferably in a property management setting.
  • Supervisory experience, with a proven track record of leading teams and achieving results.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • A strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols, with the ability to conduct regular inspections and maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.
