About the Role:

Madison College is seeking a part-time instructor to teach medical assistant courses. The successful candidate will have teaching experience, a strong background in medical assisting, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instruct medical assistant students in classroom, lab, and clinical environments.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that is relevant and progressive, aligning with industry standards.
  • Assess student learning and provide regular feedback to improve student outcomes.
  • Advise students on academic matters, career concerns, and other issues that may impact their success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to area of assignment (e.g., health sciences, education).
  • Two years or 4,000 hours of related work experience in medical assisting or a related field.

Salary: $40-$60 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. The estimated annual salary is around $80,000 - $120,000 based on a 20-hour workweek.
