Senior Deposit Operations Manager

This is a senior-level role that requires a high degree of expertise and leadership in deposit operations, payments, and central processing. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and direction to organizational initiatives, as well as developing and executing a plan to enhance operational effectiveness and drive innovation.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial industry rules and regulations, as well as experience in managing teams and leading change management initiatives. They will be responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
This role will also involve negotiating contracts with vendors, performing due diligence, and ensuring that goals are established, communicated, and met while maintaining world-class member service.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a strategic plan to enhance operational effectiveness and drive innovation
- Provide expertise and guidance to organizational initiatives relating to deposit operations, payments, and central processing
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and perform due diligence
- Ensure goals are established, communicated, and met while maintaining world-class member service
- Lead change management and business process improvement initiatives
- Provide leadership and consulting support to Credit Union executives and management
- Minimum 7-9 years of progressively responsible experience in Financial Services within Operations, including 4-6 in management
- Knowledge of financial industry rules and regulations relating to deposit products and operations, payments, and central processing
- Ability to function in a Consumer business office environment and utilize standard office equipment
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
- Travel required on occasion
