Job Summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for implementing, improving, and executing our Quality Management Systems (QMS) and project-specific quality program requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain QMS and project-specific quality program requirements
  • Ensure design and construction works are planned and executed in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements
  • Develop and implement quality control plans, inspection and test plans, and other procedures as necessary
  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project profitability and efficiency
  • Collaborate with project teams, owners, clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues
  • Monitor and report quality costs, including resources and rework costs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as AEC or engineering
  • Current certification in Quality Management, such as USACE/NAVFAC/NRC Construction Quality Management
  • Industry certifications for testing and inspection
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a Quality role, with 3 years preferred
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage time effectively
