The EDM division focused on Energy is rapidly expanding, aiming to integrate a well-established Enterprise Data Management solution into a mature industry. This segment has already demonstrated considerable success, supported by a growing clientele.

Key Responsibilities and Contributions:

  • Configure products according to specifications, which includes developing interfaces, validations, rules, mappings, workflows, and permissions.
    • Analyze, document, and map the various data streams that feed into or extract data from the IHS Markit EDM suite.
    • Engage in the testing phases for new product releases and client testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT, parallel, etc.) during implementation to ensure that deliverables meet requirements and performance standards.
    • Assist in the release management process and automation of job procedures.
    • Facilitate project handover meetings to guarantee that IHS Markit EDM Support and Client Management teams fully comprehend the implementation details.
    • Aid in acquiring infrastructure and installing software at client locations or in hosted environments.
    • Contribute to the training curriculum and deliver training sessions both internally and externally.
    • Provide insights for the product roadmap by suggesting enhancements.
    • Support the investigation and resolution of issues raised through support channels.
    • Contribute to strategic developments within the industry, particularly concerning existing products.

Qualifications We Seek:

Essential Qualifications:

  • A university degree or equivalent experience relevant to the seniority of the position.
  • Demonstrated experience in software implementation, preferably within the Energy sector.
  • Deep understanding of Energy Upstream data, products, applications, software, operations, and concepts.
  • Proficient in relational databases (SQL/Oracle) and Upstream Energy Products.
  • Familiarity with OSDU and its operational processes.
  • Knowledge of PPDM and its data model, processes, community, and associations.
  • Commercial awareness and strong business acumen are crucial.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment based on client needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading and mentoring a team of skilled professionals, focusing on their strengths and aligning with business objectives to achieve optimal performance.

Work Eligibility:

This position is restricted to individuals with an indefinite right to work in the United States.
