Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for coordinating and participating in various technical tasks, tests, and determinations involving the utilization of radioactive materials and measurement instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and participate in in vivo and in vitro studies
  • Operate radiation detection and measurement instrumentation
  • Calibrate and draw up radiopharmaceutical materials for administration to patients
  • Evaluate recorded images for technical quality
  • Process computerized image data
  • Assume care for physical and psychological needs of patients during examinations
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and records concerning radiopharmaceutical receiving, dispensing, and disposal activities
  • Provide instruction and technical guidance to radiologic technology students or other advanced imaging techs
  • Monitor Nuclear Medicine Department for possible contamination
Requirements
  • Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification
  • ARRT (N) certification and/or NMTCB certification within 18 months of employment
  • BLS certification
