PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond to security calls and safety hotline inquiries promptly based on urgency.
  • Communicate relevant information regarding guest counts, events, and arrivals/departures during shift changes.
  • Maintain knowledge of life safety systems, including the layout of the building and locations of safety equipment, and report any significant findings from each shift.
  • Monitor surveillance equipment for unusual activities and report any suspicious behavior or alarms to the on-duty supervisor.
  • Assist guests with inquiries and provide directions in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Complete necessary documentation and reports as required.
  • Manage and direct traffic flow as needed.
  • Administer CPR and First Aid as required.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work flexible schedules to meet the operational needs of the hotel.

Consistent attendance in alignment with the standards set by Trump Hotel Las Vegas is crucial for success in this role. Employees with irregular attendance may face disciplinary measures, including potential termination.

In this role, collaboration with operational staff may be necessary to enhance customer satisfaction. Employees are expected to respond positively to requests for assistance unless it may lead to guest dissatisfaction, in which case a supervisor should be informed.

SUPPORTING FUNCTIONS:

In addition to the primary responsibilities, this position may involve performing various supportive tasks, with the specific focus determined by management based on company needs.

  • Provide accurate information to guests regarding directions and operational hours.
  • Document and secure found items, and assist guests with inquiries about lost property.
  • Help guests with issues related to door locks and in-room safes using specialized electronic devices.
  • Escort guests and staff to parking areas as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisors.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the hotel layout, function rooms, and familiarity with the surrounding area.
  • Ability to effectively interact with both internal and external guests, demonstrating patience, tact, and diplomacy to resolve conflicts and gather accurate information.
  • Strong verbal communication skills in English; some positions may require reading and writing proficiency.
  • Capability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while performing essential job functions.
  • Ability to observe and respond to emergency situations effectively.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that involve bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking significant distances.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Capacity to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. and demonstrate manual dexterity.

  • Willingness to work in varying temperature conditions.

EDUCATION:

EXPERIENCE:
Previous security experience in a luxury hotel environment is preferred. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.

CERTIFICATIONS:
Valid Alcohol Awareness Card, Driver's License, and CPR & First Aid Certification are necessary.

APPEARANCE:
All employees must maintain a professional and well-groomed appearance in accordance with company standards.

AGE REQUIREMENT:
Must be at least 21 years old. Additional language skills are a plus.

NOTICE:
The hospitality industry operates 24/7, and a welcoming service atmosphere must be maintained at all times.

AVAILABILITY:
Must be able to work all shifts, including days, evenings, and overnight, as well as weekends and holidays.
