Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Children's Play Area Builder to join our team at Florida Playground Construction Group. As a key member of our installation team, you will play a crucial role in creating safe and engaging play environments for children. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about construction and making a positive impact on communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct and install playground equipment according to design plans and safety standards.
  • Evaluate and clear construction sites, ensuring proper drainage and addressing any potential safety concerns.
  • Assemble and install playground components, including structures, swings, slides, and other features, following manufacturer guidelines and specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other team members to coordinate project timelines and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks to ensure that all installations meet safety regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or a related field is preferred.
  • Able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and compliance with safety standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and follow instructions from project managers.
  • Resourceful and able to troubleshoot issues that may arise during the installation process.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different project sites across Florida.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
