We are seeking a skilled Land Development Project Engineer to join our team at Harrison Consulting Solutions in Detroit.
The successful candidate will lead project teams in preparing project drawings, calculations, and specifications, while also evaluating land use/zoning requirements and site visits during the construction phase.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading project teams in preparation of project drawings, calculations, and specifications;
- Preparing engineering analysis, design, calculations, and reports;
- Evaluating land use/zoning requirements;
- Preparing permit applications and obtaining approvals;
- Mentoring junior staff and working as part of a multi-discipline team;
Requirements for the position include:
- A minimum of 3+ years of design experience on land development projects;
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and Office 360 products;
- Familiarity with zoning ordinances and site plan approval processes;
- Experience with K-12 site design is preferred;
- An engineer or designer with experience in land development projects, sustainable design, utility design, and stormwater management design;
The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
