We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Medical City Alliance. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures, including P.O.C. testing, arterial punctures, and blood gas analysis.
- Monitor patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years of critical care experience.
- An Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
- A current RRT license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications within 90 and 120 days of hire, respectively.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 120 days of hire if working in the NICU.
