About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Medical City Alliance. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and providing exceptional service to our patients and families.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver respiratory care services to patients with a variety of respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, and pneumonia.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures, including arterial punctures, blood gas analysis, and P.O.C. testing.
  • Monitor patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation and provide critical care services as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on respiratory care and disease management.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years critical care experience required.
  • Current RRT license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required within 90 and 120 days of hire, respectively.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within 120 days of hire if working in NICU.
