We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Correction Captain at the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. As a Correction Captain, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our correctional facility, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage a team of correctional officers and staff
- Develop and implement effective correctional programs and policies
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure seamless operations
- Provide training and guidance to staff on correctional procedures and protocols
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a correctional setting; supervisory experience preferred
