About the Role

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients of all ages, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients, focusing on treatment goals and promoting positive change.
  • Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct initial psychological assessments and provide ongoing support to patients and their families.
  • Participate in milieu therapy groups, leading or assisting in activities designed to promote patient engagement and participation.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records, ensuring timely and effective communication with the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Experience working with adolescents and adults in a mental health setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Bilingualism (Spanish/English) is preferred.
  • BLS certification is required.
