About the Role
We are in search of a friendly and dynamic Coffee Specialist to become a part of the Savory Hospitality team at one of our onsite amenity cafes. These cafes represent a unique aspect of our service offerings, providing a full Savory experience while allowing direct interaction with our onsite clients daily.

The ideal candidate will proactively meet the needs of our company and clientele, emphasizing hospitality, service excellence, health and safety standards, and, of course, a deep knowledge of coffee and tea.

This position is a vital addition to our expanding team. Below are some key responsibilities of our onsite amenity cafe Coffee Specialist:
  • Prepare espresso beverages, coffee, and tea with precision
  • Exemplify the Savory ethos of warm hospitality and high-quality service while maintaining professionalism
  • Act as a knowledgeable resource on coffee and tea to educate guests and team members as needed
  • Timely report any equipment or technical issues, inventory shortages, or client concerns to the General Manager
  • Assist counter attendants as required

What We Are Looking For

Your background should demonstrate the following:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume setting, crafting beverages with a manual espresso machine; brewing coffee and tea
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to think quickly and resolve conflicts to address guest concerns in line with Savory's brand standards
  • A team-oriented individual with a warm demeanor and strong ethical values

Job Requirements
  • NY Food Handlers Certification, or a commitment to obtain one within one month of hire
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule during weekdays, with occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays
