Transocean is seeking a highly skilled Customs Compliance Specialist to join our Supply Chain Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day custom compliance activity within the region, supporting the Sr Manager of Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to remote locations to implement policies and procedures for import/export of rigs and materials, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements.
  • Support the development of in-house Customs expertise in remote locations, relative to import/export formalities.
  • Collaborate with customs agents to resolve customs issues, minimizing the risk of fines and penalties.
  • Establish and maintain policies and procedures for the Compliance function.
  • Analyze and manage the performance of regional customs brokers through performance reviews and evaluations.
  • Interact with local rig management to gain support for compliance initiatives.
  • Identify compliance issues requiring follow-up or investigation.
  • Support the NCRP program.
  • Stay informed about industry changes, trends, and best practices, assessing their potential impact.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 5 years of related work experience (7 years preferred)
  • Strong Logistics and Compliance Knowledge
  • Good understanding of best practices
