Job Description:

TRUSTED RESOURCE ASSOCIATES (TRA) is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Detroit, Michigan. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in cardiovascular invasive procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, develop your skills in a state-of-the-art cath lab, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform cardiovascular invasive procedures with precision and accuracy
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Operate and maintain cath lab equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Assess procedure rooms for equipment functionality and readiness
  • Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Formal 2-year radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school
  • Basic EKG course
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in computed tomography
  • State license, if required
  • American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
