Job Summary:

Henry Ford Health System is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our Interventional Radiology department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the examination process and obtaining necessary medical history.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including CT scanners and fluoroscopy machines, to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Assist Radiologists during procedures, providing support and ensuring patient safety.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to department protocols and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with advanced registry in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI), or Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography (CV).
  • Maintain required hours of continued medical education and Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS).
