We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at AMCON. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete project life cycle, from initial client engagement to project completion.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of assigned projects from initiation to closeout
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations
- Coordinate and allocate resources to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within budget
- Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks
- Prepare and deliver regular project status reports and presentations to clients and internal stakeholders
- Manage change requests, scope changes, and project documentation
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, and safety standards
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes to enhance project efficiency and quality
- Adhere to project management best practices and methodologies
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in mechanical construction project management
- Ideal candidate will have Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or a related field
- Experience working in commercial and industrial atmospheres
- Willingness to travel 30% to 60% of the time
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex electrical projects on time and within budget
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing project teams
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, standards, and regulations
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Professional certifications such as PMP or CEM are highly desired
The annual base compensation range for this role is between $85,000 to $100,000. The successful candidate's actual base compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and professional qualifications.
