Job Summary:The Treatment Counselor will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling sessions to participants, assessing their needs, and developing treatment plans to promote positive change. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychology, counseling, or a related field, and experience working with individuals with mental health or substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct initial assessments and screenings to identify participant needs and develop treatment plans.
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions to promote positive attitudes, skills, and coping mechanisms.
- Monitor participant progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of participant interactions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other treatment team members to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- One year of experience in mental health or substance use counseling.
- Colorado Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS) certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
