We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Field Service Engineer to join our team at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, ensuring the smooth operation of our F135 engines, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve emerging customer issues.
Key Responsibilities- Support F-35B/F135 operations, including systems, tooling, material, and processes.
- Ensure comprehensive reporting on support activities, including aircraft and engine status, flight reports, operational data, engine configuration status, and parts consumption.
- Work closely with internal teams to assist Marine Fighter-Attack Squadron (VMFA)-211, (VMFA)-225, (VMFA)-122, (VMFA)-214, Marine Test & Evaluation Squadron (VMX)-1, and Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron (MALS)-13 Supply Department in troubleshooting and resolution of emerging customer issues.
- Use self-initiative and judgment to identify problems, conduct investigations to determine root cause, and coordinate solutions between our company, Rolls-Royce, the Joint Strike Fighter Program Office, and Lockheed Martin.
- Comply with Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and participate in Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) initiatives.
- Ability to travel for extended periods of time to support customer deployments to contested areas, including domestic and international travel, as well as shipboard operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- A bachelor's degree in an engineering or related technical field, or 9+ years of aviation maintenance experience in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to travel for extended periods of time to support customer deployments to contested areas.
- 5+ years of professional experience in engine/aircraft maintenance, logistics, and logistics support, including supply chain management and Support Equipment management.
- Candidate must possess a US Govt. Secret Clearance or have the ability to secure one for position requirements.
- Experience on the F135 engine and associated programs, including Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS)/OBPHM.
- Knowledge of turbine engine theory and operation.
- Familiarity of USMC aviation operations/structure.
As a Field Service Engineer at Raytheon Technologies, you will be eligible for a competitive salary range of $77,000 - $163,000, as well as a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
