Occupational Therapist Opportunity

Northern Dauphin Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitation services in our service locations in Millersburg, PA.

Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist will implement occupational therapy programs and provide treatments to patients to facilitate increased independence and functioning, under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities
  • Implement patient's individualized treatment plan as established by the primary Occupational Therapist
  • Collaborate with other members of the rehabilitation team to develop programs consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient
  • Instruct patients, families, and other caregivers in the skills and techniques of the occupational therapy treatment program under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist
  • Evaluate residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term and long-term goals
Qualifications

Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program or Licensed Occupational Therapist; OTR/L certification
