A school in the Millersburg, OR area is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist (OT) for the uping academic year. The OT will be responsible for assessing and addressing students' occupational therapy needs, developing personalized intervention plans, and educating and training families and caregivers. The specific caseload will be determined later. The director is ready to review applications and conduct interviews promptly.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct prehensive evaluations and assessments of students' occupational therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to address each students unique needs.
• Educate students and their families about occupational therapy, its benefits, and effective management techniques.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Provide direct therapy to students in individual or group settings.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of student conditions, treatment plans, therapy sessions, and progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide remendations for student support.
• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy.
• Supervise and provide guidance to occupational therapy assistants as needed.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.

Experience:

• Previous experience in an occupational therapy setting.
• Experience working in a school setting as an OT is preferred.

Education:

• Must have a masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Full accreditation (OTR) is preferred.
• Must have a valid state license or be eligible for licensure.
