  • Evaluate departmental personnel and organizational structure to drive effective hiring and talent management strategies.
  • Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
  • Investigate and administer disciplinary procedures as needed, while maintaining a fair and consistent approach.
  • Coach and mentor managers on dealing with performance issues and provide guidance on organizational policy matters.
  • Analyze and modify compensation to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Plan and conduct employee orientation and facilitate training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills.
  • Support the development planning process to ensure employees have opportunities for growth and advancement.
  • Administer policies and procedures for accurate and consistent application.
Requirements
  • College Degree in Human Resources or a related field; may accept experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years of HR experience; HR experience in a manufacturing plant preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Bilingual - reads, writes, and verbally speaks and understands both English and Spanish FLUENTLY.
  • Ability to work across shifts, including night shift, to provide support to all manufacturing leadership team members and associates.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Power Point, PeopleSoft, eTime, ADP, along with good organizational, time management, and general office skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Self-starter.
