We are seeking an experienced Physiatry specialist to join our team as a consultant for spasticity management. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with spasticity and other musculoskeletal conditions.

Job Overview

This is a full-time position that requires the candidate to work 4 days a week from 8 am to 5 pm. The successful candidate will also need to provide 24-hour call coverage one weekend per month and weekly clinic coverage for 4 weeks a month.

Clinical Details

In this role, you will be working in an outpatient clinic setting where you will be responsible for managing patients with spasticity, including botox treatment, spinal cord injury management, and general musculoskeletal physical medicine and rehabilitation. You will also be conducting EMG studies as needed.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must be board-certified in physiatry and have an active VT license or IMLC. You should also have BLS certification and experience with procedures such as botox administration for spasticity management. Electrodiagnostic and joint injection procedures are also desirable.

Working Conditions

You will be working closely with a team of RNs and MAs who will assist you with patient care and administrative tasks. You will also be using Epic EMR system for documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $200,000-$250,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. This figure may vary depending on your experience and qualifications.
