We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our Otolaryngology Department at Seattle Children's Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct care and clinically manage patients, with a primary focus on providing ambulatory care to pediatric patients with Otolaryngology needs.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and manage pediatric patients with Otolaryngology needs
- Collaborate with Otolaryngology Surgeons and other specialists to provide comprehensive evidence-based care
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and procedural interventions
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
- Master's degree in nursing with a concentration in pediatric or family nurse practitioner program (for NPs) or graduate of a nationally accredited physician assistant program (for PAs)
- Active, unencumbered registered nurse and advanced registered nurse practitioner licensure in the State of Washington (for NPs) or active, unencumbered physician assistant licensure in the State of Washington (for PAs)
- Current national certification as a pediatric or family nurse practitioner (for NPs) or initial certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (for PAs)
- Active Drug Enforcement Authority registration
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Professionals certification
- Two years of experience in an advanced practice provider role
- Two years of experience in pediatric healthcare
