School Psychologist (PSY) - School - (PSY - School)

About the Role:
AMN Healthcare Allied is partnering with a top school district in Texas to hire a School Psychologist to provide services to children of all ages. This role involves providing counseling services to students on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and to the regular student population to foster positive coping strategies, motivation, and skill development.

Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and strengths, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans, provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral issues. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments, provide crisis intervention and support for students and staff as needed. Coordinate outreach activities that support students and families, including pediatricians, outside counseling agencies, and agencies such as DCF, DMH, etc.

Requirements:
Master's or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology, State Certification and/or Licensure is Required to Start the Assignment, Must pass Texas Juris Prudence Exam before starting. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a School Setting, Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Organizational skills, Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members, Proficiency in assessment tools and techniques used in school and educational settings, Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations, Strong Knowledge of Child Development, Learning Theories, and Behavioral Interventions.
