  • Work with customers to determine system and hardware requirements and design solutions
  • Design for rugged environments, including extended temperatures, EMC, ESD, and vibration
  • Component selection, derating, and detailed design for high reliability and severe environments
  • Generate test software and custom test equipment for design verification and qualification
  • Prepare design documentation, project schedules, and test reports
  • Create detailed bills of materials and source electronic components
  • Troubleshoot electrical device problems and resolve issues efficiently
  • Analyze and evaluate new or improved electronic components

Qualifications:

  • BS or advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field
  • 10-15 years of circuit design experience for embedded aerospace or vehicular systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to create technical proposals
  • Highly motivated with ability to work autonomously
