Job Description

Booth Management Consulting, LLC is a diverse CPA firm providing accounting, auditing, and management consulting services to public and private clients nationwide. As a Staff Auditor, you will work with our State/Federal clients to perform internal financial, incur costs, and risk management audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform internal financial, incur costs, and risk management audits
  • Assess current and future financial operations to improve efficiency
  • Examine financial transactions to determine whether costs were incurred within the contractual Period of Performance (PoP)
  • Examine records to ensure proper recording of transactions and compliance with applicable laws, agreements, and policies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related fields
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in auditing
  • Auditing experience with federal or state government grant programs
  • Generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Principles, AASHTO audit guide
  • Strong Microsoft Excel experience; Proficiency with MS Office - Word, Outlook
  • Strong analytical, team-oriented, and problem-solving skills
