Key Responsibilities:
  • Tax Preparation and Review: Prepare and review tax filings for individuals, partnerships, and corporations, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Client Relationship Management: Assist in managing client interactions, addressing tax-related inquiries, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Technical Expertise: Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of tax laws and regulations, staying informed on current practices and legislative changes.
  • Mentorship: Support the training and development of junior team members, contributing to a knowledgeable and efficient workforce.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify and address complex tax issues, providing innovative solutions tailored to client needs.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline; CPA certification or progress towards it is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on taxation.
  • Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
