In this role, you will engage with individuals facing behavioral and conduct challenges, offering essential support, guidance, and interventions aimed at enhancing their social and emotional health.

Your contributions will be instrumental in creating modification strategies, executing therapeutic approaches, and working in partnership with families and a diverse team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of client behavior utilizing standardized methods and observational techniques.
  • Design and implement individualized behavior modification plans tailored to specific goals.
  • Provide direct therapeutic assistance to individuals experiencing behavioral and conduct issues.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary team to formulate effective strategies.
  • Track client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client behavior, interventions, and progress in accordance with agency protocols.

To excel in this position, candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience working with adults who have behavioral disorders. A solid understanding of behavior modification principles and evidence-based practices is essential, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to function effectively within a multidisciplinary team is also crucial.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is preferred.
  • A degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field, or 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in a community mental health environment.
  • Certification in behavior analysis (BCBA or BCaBA) is desirable.

Job Type: Full-time, on-site, Monday to Friday (7:30 AM - 2:30 PM)
