William Newton Hospital is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator to provide exceptional patient care and administrative support in our clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities- Registration and Scheduling: Register all patients, provide new patients with medical forms to complete, and schedule appointments with healthcare providers.
- Patient Communication: Explain billing policies, collect co-payments, and provide directions to new patients.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain patient logs, referral logs, and diagnostic logs, and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
- Financial Transactions: Collect payments, write receipts, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with office staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Education: High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Experience: One year of experience in an office setting or hospital setting, preferably with billing and insurance experience.
- Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to maintain confidentiality, and proficiency in computerized systems.
