This position is crucial for overseeing and coordinating the movement and storage of products, ensuring compliance with schedules, documentation, and tracking systems. Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of up to 10 direct reports, including additional subordinate roles. Employ data-driven analytical tools to consistently evaluate operations, pinpoint inefficiencies, and formulate optimization strategies. Stay abreast of changes in customs regulations and update company policies and procedures to maintain compliance. Prepare necessary data for submissions and reporting related to customs filings. Address customer concerns with operational teams and develop strategies to enhance the customer experience. Assess company performance in relation to compliance, generate reports for Senior Management, and devise strategic plans to adapt to potential changes in schedules and policies. Guide and participate in customs compliance audits, both internal and external, and prepare required customs documentation to ensure adherence to current regulations. Foster a collaborative and positive team atmosphere, encouraging open communication, trust, and mutual respect among team members. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support, conducting regular performance evaluations to recognize achievements and address performance issues promptly. Oversee resource allocation in designated areas to ensure adequate staffing levels. Adhere to industry and organizational safety standards. Ensure that project and departmental objectives align with the broader goals of the organization and drive them to successful completion. Promote team engagement in continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Proven expertise in import and export regulations, compliance, and supply chain processes. Strong leadership capabilities to motivate teams, make informed decisions, and guide the organization towards operational success. Professional integrity, confidentiality, and a strong sense of responsibility and accountability. Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse individuals and cross-functional teams. Ability to adapt strategies in response to a dynamic business environment and unforeseen changes. Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey information clearly and engage with stakeholders professionally. Robust organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills to make timely, data-driven decisions that enhance operational efficiency. Flexibility to manage peak workload periods, including weekends and quarter-end escalations. Proficiency in Oracle systems and Microsoft 365 applications is required. Lean Six Sigma certification is advantageous. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus. Additional Information This position is onsite, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend and peak period responsibilities; flexibility is essential.
