About the Role

We're seeking a talented Hourly Supervisor to join our team at Torchy's Tacos. As a key member of our management team, you'll be responsible for leading by example and ensuring our guests receive Damn Good service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the management team in operating the restaurant to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Run efficient shifts, setting the pace for our team members and maintaining high standards of service.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to identify, prioritize, and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Solve problems for guests and team members with a high sense of urgency and a commitment to excellence.
  • Lead opening and closing activities, ensuring a smooth transition between shifts.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of recipe production procedures to ensure quality and freshness at all times.
  • Support the creation of prep lists and conduct line setups/checks to ensure efficient operations.
  • Check out team members at shift change and close, ensuring accurate records and a smooth transition.
  • Supervise cash handling responsibilities, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Monitor curbside and pick-up to ensure a quick and accurate guest experience.
  • Support inventory management processes, ensuring accurate tracking and minimal waste.
  • Assist in completing the HACCP checklist, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our guests and team members.
Requirements
  • Required state alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe Certification.
  • Ability to work up to 5 days or 40 hours per week, with flexibility to manage and operate the restaurant effectively.
  • Bilingual proficiency preferred but not required.
  • Competency in basic computer functions, including the point of sale system.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for several hours and walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels.
