Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Brea. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our skilled nursing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the month-end close process and general ledger for assigned facilities
  • Prepare, review, and record journal entries by compiling and analyzing account information
  • Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement, and variance analysis
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with all internal processes and controls as well as compliance with external laws and regulatory guidance
  • Assist with annual budget preparation and financial planning processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area of study
  • 5+ years progressive accounting experience, big plus for experience with assisted living
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
