POSITION TITLE: Senior HVAC-R Technician

ROLE SUMMARY:

As the Senior HVAC-R Technician, you will spearhead all service operations, ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction while executing top-notch maintenance, repairs, installations, and replacements for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration systems across various commercial clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee a team responsible for comprehensive HVAC-R installations, including equipment removal and new installations, ductwork repair or replacement, soldering, venting, refrigerant leak detection, and system parameter measurements.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC-R system issues, providing informed recommendations as needed.
  • Collaborate with inspectors, suppliers, and team members to ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
  • Maintain clear communication with supervisors, dispatchers, customer service representatives, and clients throughout the service process.
  • Mentor and guide any assistants assigned to your team.
  • Exhibit a positive demeanor in all interactions with clients and colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years of relevant technical and leadership experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, and local regulations and safety protocols.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service abilities.
  • Proficient in using electronic communication tools and applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
  • Reliable and self-driven, with a commitment to year-round work.
  • Capability to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures.
  • Valid Driver's License and insurability are mandatory.
