Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons during operative and invasive procedures, utilizing your knowledge of surgical anatomy and technique to help achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the surgical process.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
- Two years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist required; experience as a Surgical First Assistant preferred.
- Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA), Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA), or equivalent certification required.
- Current CPR training and certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent; graduate from an accredited surgical technologist program required; bachelor's degree in a related medical science field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
