Job Title: Firefighter Paramedic

Job Summary:

The Firefighter Paramedic is a critical member of our emergency response team, responsible for providing medical care and firefighting services to the community. This role requires a unique blend of firefighting and paramedic skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care and treatment to patients
  • Operate and maintain firefighting equipment and apparatus
  • Participate in training and drills to maintain and improve skills
  • Inspect buildings and premises for fire hazards and provide fire prevention education
  • Perform general maintenance work in the upkeep of Fire Department property
Requirements:
  • Valid Paramedic Certification/License (from any State)
  • Valid Current National Registry Certification as a Paramedic
  • Must Possess Firefighter 1 & 2 from an accredited regional school or fire academy
  • Must possess Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations from an accredited regional school or fire academy
  • Must have obtained CPAT certification within one year prior to application
