Aerospace Manufacturing Quality Inspector Role

Saxon Aerospace USA is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team in Santa Clarita, CA.

This is a unique opportunity to work independently as a subject matter expert (SME) for mechanical and assembly inspection.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the site by serving as a SME in mechanical or assembly inspections
  • Evaluate non-conformance issues and provide feedback for corrective actions
  • Independently create AS9102 reports

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years' experience as a Quality Inspector
  • 5+ years' Aerospace experience
  • Shop math and GD&T comprehension
  • Mechanical Assembly Inspection processes
  • Advanced competencies using a wide range of inspection tools and processes

Working Conditions:

  • Standing, pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting
  • Lifting and handling objects up to 40 pounds
  • Standing for 10-12 hour shifts

Compensation: $49/hr ST; $73.50/hr OT
