Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Supervisor to join our team at Encore. As a Technical Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading floor operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and developing the technical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup, operate, and breakdown intermediate audiovisual equipment.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly.
  • Comply with all Company security and safety measures.
  • Ensure equipment is secure from theft and/or damage when in use.
Customer Service
  • Provide excellent service and strive to exceed customer expectations.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with clients through effective communication.
  • Meet with guests on site to ensure their needs are met and equipment is working properly.
  • Monitor events and check in on customers throughout the day.
  • Understand and foster the hotel/client relationship.
Training and Staff Development
  • Assist in training technicians on floor activities and hotel/Encore service expectations.
  • Serve as a mentor for new hires.
  • Model and reinforce a positive working environment centered around company values.
Operations Management
  • Organize daily floor activities to ensure timely setup, refresh, and removal of equipment.
  • Perform daily floor management, directing the workflow of technicians and assisting management with labor needs and scheduling.
  • Ensure equipment sheets are updated and properly completed.
  • Work with the team to establish coordinated communications for event management.
  • Attend venue meetings as needed.
Equipment Maintenance
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to keep it presentable and in good working condition.
  • Lead the team in proper security, storage, transportation, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Participate in physical inventory count processes as requested.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Encore Technical Level 3 Certification required.
  • 3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years of audiovisual experience required.
  • Knowledge of technical theory.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading workflow and team members.
  • A valid driver's license required for team members in positions that may operate Company vehicles.
