About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon.

This is a 0.9 FTE, full-time position working on night shifts with a 1:3 nursing ratio in our Emergency Department.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care, including assessing patients' needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating the effectiveness of care.
  • Nursing Expertise: Utilize your advanced nursing knowledge and skills to provide expert care to patients with complex medical conditions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes and maintain a safe and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Current Oregon RN License, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Experience: At least one year of nursing experience, preferably in an Emergency Department setting.
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
