Job Summary:

A skilled Podiatry Nail Technician is required to provide exceptional patient care in an ambulatory medical clinic setting. Under the supervision of a podiatrist or physician, this individual will carry out and assist with routine nail and foot care for patients, with a focus on toenail trimming and callus removal.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide routine foot and toenail care for patients, including toenail trimming and callus removal
  • Assist with patient preparation and positioning for procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in routine foot and toenail care in a medical clinic or salon setting
  • Medical Assistant experience preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a licensed nail technician or cosmetologist program required
  • State of WI license as a cosmetologist or a manicurist required
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent required within 90 days of hire
